However, there is a lot more to web presence than simply a website, blog or Facebook page. Here are some things to consider when managing your company's online presence.

A good starting point for marketing your company online is to create a website. However, this can be a very technical and time consuming task, and let's face it: you're already busy running your company. Make sure that you have enough money budgeted for the website's design as you may end up needing to pay more for more advanced features and services.

Once you have the overall layout of your site established, you may be asking yourself how you can target your current customers. Make sure that you ask your web designer what services they provide so that you can get the best value for your Internet marketing efforts.

  2. Context of this post is universal and infinite as we all forever ponder questions of our web presence and identification.
    I find the answer is to approach all parts of your internet strategy as though you are about to enter a "bad neighborhood"...don't go there by yourself.
    No one requires a true mentor to acquire insightful and honest feedback regarding web design, social media presence and seo tools etc.
    There is help everywhere online and plenty of willing and able answerers but you have to ask.
    Put aside your pride, admit your weaknesses and ignorances to both learn usefel assessments of your efforts and you may find this even more useful and less costly than professional help.

  3. Anyone building a website should invest in SEO.

    More and more sites are coming online and everybody wants a position in the top 10.
    Ideally in the top 3 with the #1 position being the ultimate goal.

    This is never going to happen without SEO.

    Without optimizing your pages they are going to disappear into the nether religions of search and any publicity will have to be done using link marketing.
